This legacy cable adapter is needed for connecting existing Bosch CDR direct-to-module cables to the Bosch CDR900 interface and power cable. Although new Bosch CDR900 direct-to-module CDR cables will not require this adapter, many existing legacy Bosch CDR cables will require this adapter as older vehicle’s support is migrated to the Bosch CDR900 device.
